Plant mechanic for sanitary and heating engineering and air-conditioning technology

While training as a plant mechanic for sanitary and heating engineering and air-conditioning technology, you will learn how to plan, install, maintain and commission technical supply plants and systems. To this end, you will process pipes and metal or plastic sheets and profiles on machines or by hand. In addition, you will set up set up electrical assemblies and components for control and regulation processes.

Duration of training: 3.5 years

Training location: At various locations throughout Germany, e.g. Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim, Munich, Berlin, Leipzig

Requirements

  • Valid secondary school-leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss, Mittlere Reife or equivalent)

Electronics engineer for energy and building technology or operating technology

In training as an electronics engineer in the field of energy and building technology or operating technology, you will become a specialist in electrical energy supply and other electrotechnical operation and control systems in all kinds of buildings. all related activities from to commissioning come within your remit: branching circuits, laying wires and installing sockets, and connecting heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. To do this, you will devise control programmes and plans, define parameters, measure electrical variables, and check and test the systems. You will also perform inspections and maintenance work on our customers’ premises and repair the components and systems.

Duration of training: 3.5 years

Training location: At various locations throughout Germany, e.g. Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim, Cologne, Berlin, Leipzig

Requirements:

Mechatronics technicians for refrigeration

As a mechatronics technician for refrigeration, you will plan the components of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, examine what is the best solution in the given conditions from an economic environmental perspective, and pre-assemble the individual system parts. On our customers’ premises, you will then install the systems, e.g. fit pipes and sheath them with heat-insulating materials, install the electrical connections and programme the control and regulation equipment.

Specialist (m/f) in warehouse logistics

In training as a specialist in warehouse logistics, you will become familiar with all logistical and administrative tasks at our main warehouse. These include processing of incoming and outgoing goods, picking of goods and stocktaking. Other tasks in this career are cleaning of equipment, loading and unloading of vehicles, and quality assurance.

Duration of training: 3 years

Training location: Kelsterbach (near Frankfurt am Main)

Requirements:

  • Valid secondary school-leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife or equivalent)
  • Dedication and reliability
  • An organised mind and an understanding of logistics processes

Event manager

In training as an event manager, you will become familiar with all organisational and administrative tasks relating to events. These include consultation with customers, event planning, internal organisation, logistics, marketing and project management.

Duration of training: 3 years

Training location: Kelsterbach (near Frankfurt am Main)

Requirements:

  • University-entrance diploma (Abitur) or a good intermediate school-leaving certificate
  • Reliable with a friendly manner
  • Good German and English skills

Hotel manager

In this training, you become familiar with tasks in the reception, housekeeping, service, kitchen, conference and events departments, covering all processes involved in running a hotel. Among the tasks of a hotel manager are looking after guests, including check-in/check-out, taking reservations, serving meals and drinks, and issuing invoices.

Duration of training: 3 years

Training location: Neu-Isenburg (near Frankfurt am Main) or Darmstadt-Kranichstein

Requirements:

  • Secondary-school leaving certificate or university-entrance diploma (Mittlere Reife or Abitur)
  • Good grades in German and English
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills

Chef

In training as a chef, you will become familiar with interesting, varied and responsible tasks, e.g. preparation and serving of dishes, correct handling of (large) kitchen appliances and correct storage of foodstuffs and application of the relevant hygiene and food regulations.

Duration of training: 3 years

Training location: Neu-Isenburg (near Frankfurt am Main) or Darmstadt-Kranichstein

Requirements:

  • Valid secondary school-leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife or equivalent)
  • Good grades in German and English

Dual Course of Study

Bachelor of Arts – Business Administration

In terms of content, the theory phases of the practically oriented Business Administration course are focused on topics such as business law, accounting and controlling, mathematics, personnel management and marketing.

In the practical phases, students gain hands-on experience at our company in the various commercial departments such as Human Resources, Controlling, Finance and Purchasing, and get to know what services we provide for our customers in facility management. Through support from experienced colleagues in day-to-day business and independent handling of projects, our students gain in-depth insight into the wide variety of tasks of the departments.

Duration of study: 3 years

Training location: The practical phases are undertaken at our headquarters in Neu-Isenburg. The theory phases are delivered at the Hesse University of Cooperative Education (“Hessische Berufsakademie”) in Frankfurt am Main.

Requirements:

  • University-entrance diploma (Abitur) or equivalent
  • Good grades in German, English and mathematics
  • Interested in the workings of commerce, reliable and enthusiastic with strong communication skills

Bachelor of Engineering – Service Engineering

In the Service Engineering course, the topics covered at university mainly focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, general business administration, project management, maintenance management and energy efficiency.

During the practical phase, students learn about the wide range of activities in facility management in various properties by assisting property managers and technicians with management of the properties on site. Deployments in central business units such as Tender Preparation, Purchasing or Project Management are another key element of this dual course of study.

Duration of study: 3 years

Training location:

  • Option 1: Practical phases in the Rhine-Main region and theory phases at the Cooperative State University Mannheim (“Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Mannheim”), Eppelheim branch
  • Option 2: Practical phases at our location in Leipzig and theory phases at the University of Cooperative Education (“Berufsakademie Sachsen”) in Leipzig (course: Service Engineering)

Requirements:

  • University-entrance diploma (Abitur) or equivalent
  • Good grades in German, English, mathematics and physics
  • High level of technical understanding and interest in the operation of building-services systems
  • Dedication and strong communication skills

Bachelor of Arts – Trade-Fair, Event and Conference Management

Along with the basics of business administration and economics, this course is centred on project management for events. In the practical phases, the students put their theoretical knowledge into practice in specific customer projects. They work on organisation of events on various scales and take on special projects themselves.

Duration of study: 3 years

Training location: The practical phases are undertaken at our location in Kelsterbach (near Frankfurt am Main). The theory phases are delivered at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (“Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg”) at the Mannheim site.
