Apleona wins facility management contract for Colworth Park research campus in the United Kingdom

Apleona HSG Limited is assuming responsibility for facility management at Colworth Park, a research campus in Bedfordshire in the East of the United Kingdom. Unilever is the main tenant on the 32,500 square-meter campus. The Group has maintained a research and development center at Colworth Park since 1947, with around 600 company employees currently working at the location.

Apleona HSG will provide all of the services needed to manage Colworth Park smoothly. As well as cleaning, pest control, waste disposal, caretaker services, security services, repair works, logistics and mail distribution, these also include a wide range of additional services such as space planning, printing and copying works, gym services and construction works.

The client is British investor and developer Wrenbridge, who acquired Colworth Park together with in-vestment manager Palmer Capital in 2014.

Simon Harris, Chief Operating Office of Apleona HSG Limited says: “We are happy that Wrenbridge and Unilever have chosen us as their service provider and partner for Colworth Park. The contract strength-ens our position as a leading service provider for facilities and companies in the research and science sectors.”
