Dr. Johannes Schmidt-Schultes (51) has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from February 1, 2017. Schmidt-Schultes has many years of management experience in the finance area. Prior to joining Apleona, he spent six years as Chief Financial Officer at Semperit AG in Vienna, Austria and before that headed the Finance, Controlling and IT departments as CFO at telecommunications companies Telstra and T-Mobile in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Daniel Häußermann, previously Head of Corporate Development at Apleona will take over management of the real estate subsidiary Apleono GVA on March 1, 2017. He succeeds Dr. Joachim Ott, CEO of the company who, along with Dirk Herborn, CFO of Apleona GVA GmbH, will leave the company by mutual agreement. Häußermann previously served as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Bilfinger, accompanying numerous transactions including the acquisitions of GVA and Europa Support Services, which are today part of Apleona.

CEO Dr. Joachim Keysberg stated that he is looking forward to working with Schmidt-Schultes and Häußermann and emphasized: “Dr. Joachim Ott and Dirk Herborn helped shape the development of the company for many years. I would like to thank him and Dirk Herborn on behalf of the Apleona Management Board for their commitment and successful work and wish them both all the best for their professional and private futures.” Dr. Joachim Ott and Dirk Herborn will be available to the company in an advisory capacity for a transitional phase.
