• Majority stake in Erge Deutsche Brandschutz, a specialized provider of installation and maintenance services for fire protection systems
• Business to be expanded throughout Germany – High synergies with building technology and FM business

Apleona, a leading European integrated facility management provider based in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt am Main, acquired Erge Deutsche Brandschutz GmbH (Erge Deutsche Brandschutz) on January 2, 2024. The company strengthens Apleona Wolfferts’ building technology Group division and adds fire protection systems such as fire extinguishing systems to its portfolio.

Erge Deutsche Brandschutz, based in Berlin, is a specialized provider of installation and maintenance services for fire protection systems (such as sprinkler and extinguishing water systems). Its customers include various commercial and industrial clients from the aviation, automotive, logistics, shopping center and hotel sectors. The regional focus of business activities has so far been Berlin and eastern Germany. The company employs around 40 people, mainly engineers, site managers and technicians specializing in fire protection for buildings.

Apleona CEO Dr. Jochen Keysberg comments on the investment, “With the strategic investment in Erge Deutsche Brandschutz, we are supplementing Apleona Wolfferts’ range of services and gaining access to the interesting fire protection market in Germany, which we will gradually expand nationwide. We will also make use of Erge Deutsche Brandschutz’s technical expertise in the maintenance and servicing of operationally sensitive fire protection systems in order to achieve synergies in our FM business.”
