Apleona provides TFM for 13 public retirement homes in Munich

The non-profit company of the City of Munich has commissioned Apleona with the hard services for its nine care and nursing homes as well as four supported residences for serviced living accommodation. A corresponding service contract was concluded with Münchenstift GmbH for four years as of January 1, 2022. This was preceded by a public invitation to tender, which Apleona won.

The 13 properties have a total gross floor area of almost 250,000m² and house almost 3,000 senior citizens, who are cared for by over 2,000 Münchenstift employees. The agreed services include all technical services, in particular the maintenance and repair of all technical facilities, energy management and the optimization of energy consumption, among others with the use of Apleona's product innovation Enerlutic, as well as the technical responsibility for facilities critical to the care operation, such as the call systems for the care and nursing staff. Apleona will provide the agreed services with an in-house performance rate of at least 75 percent.

Holger Hartmann, the managing director responsible for the southeast region, says: "We are very pleased that we were able to convince the client with our technical competence and reliability with regard to hygiene standards and trouble-free operation for the facilities that are critical in the care sector."

The quality of service provision is ensured by a team of project managers, property managers and five building technicians for operations and four building technicians for maintenance.
