The world-leading supplier of stainless steel kegs for the beverage industry, Blefa GmbH, has commissioned Apleona with hard services, maintenance, operation, and production-related services for its manufacturing and administrative site near Siegen. These production-related services also include servicing and preventive maintenance of machinery used for the production of high-quality stainless steel kegs.

The service agreement has been concluded for five years. Blefa is outsourcing all technical installations to an external service provider for the first time. To take the pressure off the client in its core business, the Apleona technician and maintenance teams will be deployed at the Blefa properties around the clock in three shifts. Due to Apleona’s high level of industry expertise and its technical and commercial know-how, the outsourcing took place with the involvement of the previous maintenance team as of January 1, 2022. Apleona assumed a contractual obligation to gradually achieve annual savings in the management of the site covering a total of 30,000 m² for Blefa by way of measures to optimize the building operation.

The mobilization phase of the contract toward exclusively digital project implementation is currently underway. In standard operations, the agreed service level agreements and key performance indicators will be provided to the client daily and entirely digitally via the Apleona dashboard, allowing for real-time reporting.
