Apleona R&M Ausbau has been awarded the contract to carry out interior work for the F.A.Z. Tower. The agreed services include all interior finishing trades. The special requirements of the project, chiefly regarding soundproofing and noise protection, including putting in a photography and TV studio, an interview room and an audio studio with a control room.

The F.A.Z. Tower is a 60-meter office tower that has been under construction in Frankfurt’s Europaviertel district since Spring 2019 and that will house the publishing and editorial team of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung once it is completed. In the future, the approximately 1,000 employees will have access to about 23,800 square meters of office space over 18 floors. The new building has a total floor area of around 35,000 square meters. As well as the 18 above-ground floors, it also has three basement levels that will be used for underground garages and technical rooms.

Interior work began in March 2021. The client is a joint venture comprising the real estate developer UBM Development and the Paulus Immobilien Group. The office tower is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2022.
