Apleona wins tender for another 24 properties of Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW Cologne

The property management company Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb Nordrhein-Westfalen (BLB NRW) has hired Apleona HSG Facility Management to provide hard services for another 24 tax offices, forestry offices and courthouses with a total area of more than 180,000 m². This comes after a Europe-wide tender that Apleona managed to win again. At the end of last year, Apleona had already won a first lot with a total of 18 properties in Cologne and Aachen.

The services agreed upon include maintenance of a large portion of the technical facilities and servicing of buildings and facilities. The service agreement concluded for the second lot also has a term of four years with the option of two one-year extensions.

With more than 4,200 buildings, a rental area of approximately 10.3 million m² and annual rental income of around EUR 1.4 billion, BLB NRW manages one of Europe’s largest and most demanding property portfolios.
