On behalf of TH Real Estate, Apleona GVA has taken over the project monitoring for the office development The Cube in Berlin. The building, based on plans by Danish architecture company 3XN, has been under construction since the beginning of the year on a prime site directly opposite Berlin’s main station in the new Europacity district. The developer is CA Immo, who is carrying out the project for the European Cities Fund, managed by TH Real Estate.
The Apleona GVA team had already provided consultancy services to TH Real Estate as the future owner of the project during the purchase phase. Apleona GVA will monitor the implementation of the contractually agreed building, technical and functional quality of the building until planned completion in 2019.
The Cube will be a cube-shaped building with glass facades and approximately 17,000 square meters of rental space. The rental space, divided across ten storeys, will offer flexibility and allow office concepts with an area of between 300 and 1,370 square meters on each level
As a smart building, the building will have intelligent building technology, which identifies and adapts to account users’ requirements and demands.
