Marco Houdek (41) has been appointed to the management of Apleona GeServ GmbH as of March 1, 2018. In this role, he assumes key account responsibility for a Germany-wide real estate portfolio of a major Italian insurance group. In addition to Marco Houdek, who works at Apleona’s headquarters in Neu-Isenburg, the key account company’s management team also includes Michael Beers.

Marco Houdek most recently held the role of Director of Corporate Development at Apleona and was responsible for key account management for a German real estate portfolio of an international institutional investor since 2015. At the same time, he managed the Business Planning & Reporting department at Apleona Real Estate Management since 2012. Marco Houdek has a property management degree from Dresden Administration and Business Academy as well as a degree in real estate and housing management.

On behalf of the Italian insurance company, Apleona has since 2009 been managing a Germany-wide portfolio of office and retail properties currently comprising around 370,000 square meters of space. Apleona Real Estate Management is responsible for technical and commercial management of these properties, management of letting activities and the resulting leasehold improvements, and coordination of facility management services.
