Starting now, Apleona HSG Facility Management is taking on technical facility management at an initial total of 21 BAUHAUS stores in Germany for a period of two years. The service is to be expanded to additional locations over the course of 2018. The aim is to manage all of the company’s stores in Germany.

Apleona HSG Facility Management will be responsible for the maintenance of technical facilities at the stores, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, sanitation facilities, lighting and sprinkler systems, high-voltage and low-voltage systems, and automatic doors and gates. BAUHAUS is particularly counting on Apleona HSG’s nationwide presence, which will allow for geographical proximity to the stores and therefore fast reaction times. Together, the two companies also plan to step up their cooperation in areas such as energy and environmental management. BAUHAUS is among the pioneers in the sector in Germany and is now one of the biggest companies of its kind in Europe.
