Apleona HSG Facility Management has taken on technical and infrastructural FM services in the Hellersdorf district in Berlin on behalf of IK MEGA 4 Service GmbH as of July 1. The four buildings at Fritz-Lang-Platz, which belong to the district, have a gross floor area of 55,000 m2 in total. They are divided into offices, apartments and shops, a gym, a multiplex movie theater, an indoor climbing park and three underground parking garages. The commission is the result of a Germany-wide tender, for which Apleona was able to convince the client with an integrated service concept and high level of vertical integration. The companies have agreed not to disclose details about the contract.
As part of the facility management order, Apleona is responsible for the smooth operation of the four buildings. The real estate service provider manages the maintenance of technical facilities and, after the existing contracts with other service providers expire, it will also take on the maintenance of the building technology. In addition, the commissioned services include compliance with all obligations associated with having operator responsibility and various infrastructural services, such as cleaning the inside areas of the buildings, maintenance of green and common areas, and security and winter services.
