Shaping the Future Together — Apprentices at Apleona

More and more young people are starting their career with Apleona: The FM market leader currently has 338 apprentices in Germany alone, 103 of whom began their training this year.The range of job profiles offered by Apleona is extensive, from plant mechanic, office administrator, real estate agent, electronics engineer for buildings and infrastructure systems, electronics engineer for operating technology, IT specialist, building cleaner and mechatronics technician through to protection/security service personnel, chef, hotel manager, and many more.

Apleona has two state-of-the-art training workshops at its headquarters in Neu-Isenburg, where a total of 50 prospective electronics engineers and plant mechanics are currently learning practical skills such as wiring and programming power switches and installing gas, drinking water, heating and waste-water pipes under the instruction of a five-strong trainer team alongside their studies at vocational college. These are skills the apprentices will need for their work at the key account and regional companies of Apleona HSG Facility Management and Apleona Wolfferts Gebäudetechnik after they complete their training.

The company has also significantly expanded its presence at universities since 2017 in order to attract young people to the prospect of a career with Apleona. The company has partnerships with institutions including TU Kaiserslautern, TU Darmstadt, Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University and Rhine-Ruhr University. In addition, Apleona provides accreditation support for the facility management course launched by Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences in October 2018. Apleona is also represented at career days, candidate events, and trade fairs and supports interested students with their project work and degree theses.
