Max Teichner takes over management of the international facility management business at Apleona

With effect from 1 October 2017, Max Teichner (46) will take over the management of the Facility Management International Business Unit and be appointed to the Management Board of the Apleona Group. In this role, he will be responsible for the real estate service provider’s entire international facility management business with the exception of the Austrian and Swiss markets. Overall, Apleona HSG Facility Management International is represented in 24 countries by over 7,000 employees, primarily in Europe and in China and the United Arab Emirates. Max Teichner will cooperate closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Apleona Group, Otto Kajetan Weixler, who is responsible among other things for facility management activities in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and with Dr Gert Riegel, who looks after international portfolios of large industrial clients as head of the International Corporate Clients Business Unit.

Max Teichner studied industrial engineering and has many years of experience in the management and development of companies and equity investments in Germany and abroad. Most recently, he was Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of the CWS-boco Group from 2010, a pan-European provider of washroom hygiene solutions and workwear. Previously, he was responsible among other things for the Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions departments at the Haniel Group and parts of the international business at the building materials manufacturer Xella.
