Apleona presents recruiting 4.0 strategies at GEFMA Day in Frankfurt

As one of Germany’s largest employers in facility management, Apleona showcased innovative approaches in recruiting and in the area of workspace utilization at the GEFMA Day on September 27 in Frankfurt, Hessia. Senior and young professionals from 33 companies in the FM sector took part in the network meeting of the industry association GEFMA, which centered on the topic of “human resources 4.0” in facility management. The event organizers and Apleona certification specialists Annelie Casper and Lina Casper had deliberately opted for an unusual location: the startup Tatcraft’s high-tech workshop in an industrial estate in Frankfurt, where creative minds can make use of pricey equipment and special tools such as 3D printers, water jet cutters and digital milling for little money.

Dr. Catharina Lenz, Head of Recruiting and Employer Branding and HR Manager for Apleona Real Estate Management, explained to the approximately 60 participants, including many young talents in FM, how specialists and young professionals can be successful on social media and online career sites. Thilo Kälberer, key account director of IBM at Apleona, moderated a panel discussion on workspace utilization.

The GEFMA association regularly invites experienced and young professionals in the FM sector to industry get-togethers. If you are interested in taking part in the event, write to nachhaltigkeit@apleona.com or learn more on GEMFA’s website https://www.gefma-2018.de/positionieren/termine-aus-dem-fm/.
