Apleona honors year’s top FM student at TU Kaiserslautern

Apleona has presented an award to Suah Yoon (28), who has graduated first in her class from the Facility Management Master’s program at Kaiserslautern University of Technology. Born in South Korea, Yoon completed her studies after five semesters with a grade of 1.6. Her final dissertation dealt with the question of how centralized CREM and facility management units at large companies can be reasonably organized and managed, with a focus on the international arena.

The prize was presented by Bernd Lausch, Head of Operational Excellence at Apleona HSG Facility Management, also in charge of training at the company’s headquarters in Neu-Isenburg. As an expert on FM training, he provided content support for the accreditation of the Master’s in Facility Management at Kaiserslautern University of Technology, where he also teaches as a guest lecturer. In his speech, he praised Suah Yoon’s achievements and enormous commitment. Suah Yoon came to Germany three years ago after having already earned a degree in architecture in Beijing. She also graduated from her second degree course top of the class after spending a year studying German. The prize is part of the cooperative initiative of Apleona HR department with leading technical universities in Germany.
